Assembly Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver Location: Worsley, Manchester (M28) Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am – 1:30pm Pay: £12.71 per hour + overtime at enhanced rates Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team based in Worsley (M28).

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with previous metal fabrication experience and a valid FLT Counterbalance licence. The role offers stable, full-time employment, regular overtime opportunities and an early finish every Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling metal components to required specifications
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Operating a range of hand and power tools
• Operating an FLT Counterbalance truck when required
• Carrying out general workshop and production duties
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Supporting the wider production team to meet daily targets Requirements
• Previous metal fabrication experience is essential
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence required
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible attitude towards overtime and general workshop duties Working Hours
• Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm Pay & Benefits
• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime at £19.07 per hour (time and a half for the first 8 overtime hours)
• Overtime at £25.42 per hour (double time after 8 overtime hours)
• Regular overtime opportunities available
• Early finish every Friday
• Full-time, permanent position
