Job Description Production Technician - Oxfordshire - £29,000 Starting Salary + International Travel Opportunities + Specialist Engineering Environment + Huge Progression Opportunity Do you have experience with the assembly and testing any electro-mechanical equipment?

Have you worked within a production, manufacturing or workshop environment before? Can you confidently read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation at any level? Are you hands-on, technically curious and keen to develop your engineering skills further as well as progressing your career with a rapidly growing consultany and specialist manufacture within the water industry?

If the answers are yes, we are hiring for a Production Technician on behalf of a specialist engineering organisation that designs and manufactures bespoke equipment used on projects around the world. WHAT YOU NEED Experience assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical systems Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and technical instructions Background within a production, manufacturing or assembly environment Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Good communication skills and ability to work within a team Self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn Experience with testing, fault finding or troubleshooting equipment What You Get In Return £29,000 starting salary with regular reviews Opportunity for international travel Training and development within a specialist engineering environment Exposure to complex and bespoke technical equipment Stable and supportive team environment Long-term career progression opportunities Nice To Haves Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or BTEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience with electric motors, rotating equipment or drive systems Knowledge of bearings, seals and mechanical assemblies Customer-facing experience Installation or commissioning experience Responsibilities include: Assemble and test bespoke electro-mechanical equipment Carry out calibration activities and quality checks Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions Support fault-finding and troubleshooting activities Work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver equipment on schedule Maintain accurate production records and component traceability Ensure a safe, clean and organised working environment Support equipment installations and service activities when required Assist with stock control and maintenance of calibrated tools and equipment This role would suit an Assembly Technician, Mechanical Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician or Production Technician looking to work on highly specialised equipment within a business that offers genuine technical development and opportunities to support projects worldwide.
