Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant Reed Recruitment are working with a well-known and highly successful business with offices based on the Lisburn Road. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary, full-time hours and will be responsible for completing the following daily

duties

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Process journals, accruals and prepayments Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end procedures Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls Experienced Required: Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), AAT qualified, or qualified by experience Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Good Microsoft Excel skills and confident using accounting software
