About the role Youll be based in a 45-bed Extra Care service supporting people aged 55 who live independently in self-contained flats including individuals with varying needs such as dementia. As an Assistant Cook youll play a vital role in ensuring residents enjoy nutritious home-style meals tailored to their needs while creating positive and meaningful mealtime experiences.
What Youll Be Doing Preparing cooking reheating and serving nutritious and delicious meals including special diets Supporting the full mealtime process: ordering storage preparation cooking serving and cleaning Maintaining high standards of food hygiene safety and infection control Creating a friendly and engaging dining experience by interacting with residents Providing support at mealtimes with dignity and respect where required Skills and Experience Needed Please make sure your application demonstrates: Experience working in a professional kitchen environment Level 2 Food Hygiene (desirable full training provided) Good IT literacy and numeracy skills Strong teamwork and customer service skills Values At Codi our values are Compassionate Authentic and Progressive.
