Experienceofrecoveringchargesarisingfromfinancialassessments,carechargesanddeferredpaymentagreements,applyingrelevantlegislation,policiesandrecoveryprocedures. Experienceofworkingwithvulnerablecustomers,theirrepresentativesandpartnerorganisationstoachieveappropriatedebtrecoveryoutcomes.
EssentialSkillsAssistantFinanceOfficer SoundknowledgeofHousingBenefitOverpaymentrecoverylegislation,regulationsandrecoverymethodsincludingPDP,DEA,BTRetc. Abilitytoanalysecustomercircumstancesandmakeinformeddecisionsonappropriaterecoveryactioninaccordancewithlegislationandpolicy.
Excellentcommunicationandnegotiationskills,withtheabilitytomanagedifficultconversationsandachievepositiverecoveryoutcomes. CompetentITskills,includingMicrosoftOfficeandhousingbenefit,revenuesorfinancialmanagementsystems.
