At NRG Gym, we're on the hunt for a bright, energetic Assistant Gym Manager to help lead the way - someone who loves people as much as they love fitness, and who's ready to make a real difference to our members' everyday experience.

Working hand-in-hand with your Gym Manager, you'll bring your energy, your organisation and your hands-on attitude to everything from the shop floor to the team behind it. And you'll love where you do it: our members train in a 24-hour, state-of-the-art facility, with Life Fitness and Hammer Strength kit, Olympic lifting platforms, dedicated functional training zones, a female-only space, and some of the best cardio equipment around.

What you'll do Members & community Make every member feel like part of the family — welcoming them in and being there whenever they need you Turn questions, concerns and feedback into a great outcome, every time Leading the team Support and motivate a team of trainers, front desk and cleaning staff, working hand-in-hand with your Gym Manager Help recruit, train, schedule and coach your team so everyone can do their best work Keep everyone aligned with NRG's standards and ways of working Running a great gym Help keep the gym running like clockwork — policies, procedures, equipment and cleanliness all in top shape Look after health and safety, emergency procedures, and accurate member records, so everyone stays safe Growing the club Champion our memberships, programmes and events, and help bring new members through the door Get creative with social media and local outreach to grow and retain our community Support your Gym Manager with budgets, expenses and revenue targets Programmes & events Help plan and run brilliant classes, workshops and events Team up with trainers to create fitness programmes members will love What you'll bring Here's

what we're looking for

REPs Level 3 in gym instructor, personal training, or group exercise qualification First Aid qualification (desired, not essential) Previous experience in fitness or a similar role — you'll settle in fast Great communication and people skills, with the confidence to lead and motivate a team Sharp organisational skills to juggle schedules, tasks and facility upkeep Comfortable using everyday software and systems for schedules, memberships and reports Bags of energy and drive, with a genuine love of exceeding expectations and getting hands-on A real passion for health, fitness, and helping people live better What you'll get We look after our own.
