Job Description Assistant Quantity SurveyorWarrington + London Travel (2 Days)£35,000-£40,000 + Car AllowanceA well-established construction group is strengthening its residential division and expanding the commercial team to support a growing pipeline of projects.
The work spans live residential schemes, refurbishment programmes and complex building safety projects , giving you exposure to a variety of commercial challenges. You'll be based in the North West but will travel to London regularly to support the Senior Commercial Manager on active sites and commercial reporting.
We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who's proactive, capable and comfortable taking responsibility - someone who can work at pace, communicate well and contribute confidently within a busy commercial team. ResponsibilitiesThe
Key Responsibilities
Assist with valuations, CVRs and cost reportingSupport procurement, subcontract orders and variationsAttend London site visits to gather commercial information and support delivery teamsMaintain accurate measures, records and commercial documentationBuild strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors and consultantsContribute to commercial risk/opportunity reviews Quantity surveyingWhat we're looking for: Assistant QS with 1-3 years' experienceConfident communicator who can hold their own with site teams and subcontractorsOrganised, proactive and commercially awareDegree in Quantity Surveying (or working towards it) preferredComfortable travelling to London regularly Commercial capabilityWhat's In It For You: Basic Salary up to £40,000Car AllowanceBenefits PackageClear progression within a growing division and groupExposure to complex, high-profile schemesRegular development and support from a strong Senior TeamA role where you'll be trusted early and able to build confidence quickly
