ITS Construction Professionals are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a residential housebuilding project in Hereford. We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager with previous experience working on new-build residential developments who is looking for their next opportunity with an established housebuilder.
The Role
- Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Monitoring build quality and progress
- Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with the programme
- Assisting with site inductions and toolbox talks
- Monitoring health & safety across the development
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site team
- Ensuring plots are progressing to programme and specification
- Supporting the Site Manager through to completion and handover
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding
- Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction
- Experience managing subcontractors and tradesGood understanding of health & safety and quality standards
- CSCS
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
