This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top ranked practice handling complex, high value and high profile injury claims for major insurers and corporate clients. The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing and assisting with a varied caseload of catastrophic and large loss injury matters, including:Complex motor, EL/PL and public liability claimsBrain and spinal injury casesChronic pain and multi track mattersSport related concussion claims, including sensitive and high profile casesPre litigation and litigated filesLiaising with clients, insurers, experts and counselSupporting a collaborative, high performing team cultureDelivering high quality, timely work aligned with client service standardsYou will work closely with senior lawyers on nationally significant and technically challenging cases.

Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:2+ years PQE (Solicitor or CILEX with equivalent experience)Experience in catastrophic injury defence workStrong litigation and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesConfidence in managing client relationships and attending BD eventsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to work efficiently, commercially and under pressureA proactive, motivated and team focused mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systemsPQE is provided as a guide only-applications from candidates with more or less experience will be considered.
