Overview

In this role, you will guide senior leaders on technology strategy, digital transformation, and operating models to drive measurable outcomes. You’ll lead complex engagements, shape trusted advisory relationships, and connect Gartner’s research to client decisions. You’ll influence both strategy and governance across commercial and public-sector clients, contributing to a high-impact Technology Strategy Consulting practice. Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior executives across sectors
• Shape and deliver tech and digital strategies aligned with growth, efficiency, resilience, customer experience, and innovation
• Provide technology foresight and market intelligence grounded in Gartner research
• Lead complex engagements: enterprise IT and digital strategies, operating models, cloud modernization, enterprise architecture, governance frameworks
• Support measurable outcomes: value realisation, cost optimisation, execution confidence
• Advise on governance design and sourcing in diverse environments
• Provide independent challenge and assurance at key decision points
• Coach and mentor consultants within the UK team
• Foster high-performance, inclusive, collaborative culture aligned with Gartner values

Key requirements

• Engagement Manager, Principal, Associate Director, or Senior Manager experience in a consulting or advisory setting
• Strong grounding in management consulting and technology strategy (firm experience preferred)
• Experience leading end-to-end client engagements from problem definition to delivery
• Confidence engaging with senior executives in complex organisations
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience is an advantage
