Overview

In this role you will support a fast-growing national pensions team by delivering technically solid pensions advice within a high-profile corporate-law context. You will work closely with an ambitious partner and cross-functional colleagues to handle trustee advisory work, corporate transactional support, and public-sector pensions for government departments and LGPS clients. The role combines client relationship build-out with effective matter management in a collaborative, evolving practice. Responsibilities

• Provide expert pensions advice across trustee matters, corporate transactions, and public sector pension projects
• Support corporate transactions with pensions input and alignment
• Nurture and manage client relationships and expectations
• Oversee matter management tasks including time recording, billing, and WIP monitoring
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and ensure SRA competence standards are met
• Collaborate closely with the corporate department and senior partners to drive growth

Key requirements

• Experience in recognised pensions teams
• 2–10 years PQE preferred
• Willingness to engage in flexible permanent or contract roles
• Ability to work autonomously within a well-connected, supportive group
