Associate - Strategic Advisory (UK Coverage)

Overview

As an Associate in PJT Partners’ Strategic Advisory UK team in London, you help analyze and structure strategic and financial options for clients across multiple industries. You work directly with client teams on transactions, from due diligence to valuation and negotiation, gaining exposure to senior leadership in a boutique environment.

You will contribute to large, complex assignments and help translate data into actionable recommendations that support clients’ objectives. This role offers meaningful client contact, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to shape outcomes on high-stakes deals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and monitor market developments relevant to PJT Partners’ business
• Research targeted industries to inform investment decisions
• Perform valuation analyses and assess financial risks of opportunities
• Compare target company metrics with industry peers to forecast trends
• Design and develop quantitative models to measure economic performance
• Prepare written analyses and evaluations for management and client review
• Participate in client meetings, contract negotiations, and due diligence sessions

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3 years of directly comparable Investment Banking experience with focus on M&A
