Associate Structural Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead project teams within a growing London office of a national engineering business. You’ll shape delivery across education, residential, industrial, government, leisure and commercial sectors, with a mix of new-build and refurbishment work. You’ll mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and drive innovative structural design while supporting office growth. Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for multiple schemes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Mentor junior engineers and develop internal capability
• Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships
• Drive innovative design solutions and contribute to London office growth
• Oversee complex/ refurbishment projects and ensure quality delivery
• Support chartership and professional development activities

Key requirements

• Proven structural engineering design experience across multiple sectors
• Strong technical capability in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
• Experience leading projects and managing multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, Robot or similar software
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Commercial awareness and proactive project delivery
• Chartered Engineer status with IStructE/ICE, or close to achieving it
• BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
