We believe in giving you more time to do the things you love outside of work Job Title: Autism Practitioner Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent, BR2 7AB Hours: 37.5 per week | MondayFriday | 8.30am - 4.30pm Salary: £24,675.00 per annum (not pro rata) Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only Start: September 2026 UK applicants only no sponsorship available About the Role As an AutismPractitioner, youll play a vital role in helping young people feel understood, supported and confident in their learning.

Youll create a safe, structured and engaging environment where students can thrive, develop their independence and build positive relationships. Working alongside teachers, tutors and our wider multi-professional team, youll provide personalised support that reflects each students individual strengths, needs and goals.

Youll help remove barriers to learning, encourage social and emotional development, and celebrate progress every step of the way. Youll also have the opportunity to contribute to planning and delivering engaging activities, adapting resources and using tailored interventions to help every student reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities Support teachers and tutors in delivering high-quality, inclusive education for students with autism Assist in the implementation of school policies, procedures, and individualised education plans Provide targeted one-to-one and small group support to enable students to access the curriculum with increasing independence Promote students physical, academic, social, and moral development Organise and maintain engaging classroom environments, including resources and displays Contribute to the preparation and upkeep of student documentation, such as Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Communication Profiles, Risk Assessments, and Pastoral Support Plans Work collaboratively with staff to ensure student safety both on and off-site, in line with risk assessments Contribute to the schools ongoing development, improvement plans, and wider initiatives About You Were looking for some...
