Job Description Up to £48k | Company Vehicle Provided | Permanent Position | Company Benefits & Holidays | Full-TimeWere on the hunt forskilled and proactive Automation Engineers to join our fast-growing team. Workingacross social housing and commercial contracts, youll be responsible for reactive callouts, planned maintenance, servicing, fault finding, repairs and installations across a range of automated doors, gates, barriers and access control systems.
Were particularly interested in engineers who have experience acrossmultiple disciplines ideally automatic doors, gates/barriers and access control but strong experience in any one of these areas will be considered. What Youll Be Doing Responding to reactive callouts and diagnosing and repairing faults efficientlyCarrying out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairsWorking on automatic doors, gates, barriers and access control systemsCarrying out surveys, inspections and site assessmentsFault finding and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control systemsCompleting planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Providing professional and customer-focused service on siteAccurately recording works completed, parts used and technical informationCompleting job reports, timesheets and relevant documentationWorking in line with company procedures and health & safety requirementsSupporting out-of-hours callouts, overtime and an on-call rota where requiredWhat Youll Bring Proven experience as an Automation Engineer / Automatic Door Engineer / Gate & Barrier Engineer / Access Control EngineerExperience working with automatic doors, gates, barriers and/or access control systemsADSA or ADIA accreditation would be highly desirableIdeally 3+ years industry experienceStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of electrical and mechanical systemsFull UK Driving LicenceA professional, positive and customer-first attitudeExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadPride in your work and a commitment to delivering a high-quality serviceIf youre technically strong, reliable and looking for your next opportunity with a growing company, get in touch today.
