AUTOMATION SUPPORT ENGINEER Job Title: Automation Support Engineer Location: Skelmersdale Salary: Up to £70,000 Shift: Monday - Friday - Days Job Role of the Automation Support Engineer. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation Support Engineer to join a modern, high-tech FMCG manufacturing site in Skelmersdale.

You will be responsible for carrying out automation improvements and projects on the production lines and machinery, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Working on a Monday - Friday days based role, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site. Sector - FMCG Factory Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Automation Support Engineer Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory. Experience within an automation support role . Experience within manufacturing environment Requirements for the Automation Support Engineer Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.

Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent). Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Automation experience within similar environment PLC fault-finding experience .

Desirable Requirements for the Automation Support Engineer. Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK. Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments. The Automation Support Engineer will benefit from: Working for a market-leading manufacturing business.
