Are you a skilled multi-disciplinary engineer looking for a role that challenges and rewards? We're seeking a Automation Maintenance Engineer, at our Leeds Mail Centre, Leodis Way, Stourton, Leeds , LS10 1AZ site, to ensure the smooth running of our cutting-edge automation systems.

In this role your potential earning will be over 55,000 per annum and you may be eligible for a welcome bonus of 1,500, subject to terms and conditions. Salary: 54,791 per annum, plus night shift allowance, equivalent to 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays and a defined contribution pension scheme.

A Saturday (54.17 per attendance) and Sunday (109.47 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable. Contract: Permanent Attendance: Full time, shift attendance equates to 40 hours per week, 12-hour shifts on a rota basis to cover days, nights and weekends.

The full rota will be discussed at interview. The successful candidate will be required to follow Leeds Mail Centre shift rotation system, with flexibility to meet our 24/7 operational needs , including voluntary overtime coverage and shift pattern flexibility.

The Role Keep our automation assets performing at their best through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and team leaders, completing reports and logging faults Diagnose and resolve automation breakdowns quickly to keep operations flowing.

Monitor performance and work with stakeholders to boost output. Take ownership of Continuous Improvement projects, from concept to implementation, focused on enhancing machinery performance in our Mail Centre. About YouWe are looking for electrical and mechanical qualified engineers with extensive post qualification practical experience.

You need to demonstrate the following on skills, qualifications and experience on your CV: Qualified in both electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – essential requirement From an automation engineering background ideally a logistics, distribution, or FPCG warehouse environment – essential requirement Extensive hands-on experience in maintaining automation equipment, ideally with PLC knowledge Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation A proactive team player who can also work independently Full UK manual driving licence (for occasional travel to other sites)What happens next?
