Test Automation Engineer (DV Cleared) Location: NW London Salary: £50,000-£75,000, depending on experience Working arrangement: Hybrid, typically 3 days on-site and 2 days from home Opportunity We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join a growing team working on projects within the UK defence and national security sector.

Working alongside software developers and test analysts, you will help design and develop automated test scripts, investigate software issues and contribute to improving the quality and reliability of software systems. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must hold valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance at the time of application. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts. Apply established test automation practices and guidelines.

Investigate software issues, analyse test results and help identify potential solutions. Work collaboratively with software developers and test analysts to improve software quality. Contribute to the development and refinement of test processes and automation approaches.

Keep up to date with relevant tools, technologies and industry developments. Participate in training and professional development activities. Attend occasional customer meetings, team events and training sessions, including travel within the UK and potentially overseas.

Skills and Experience We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate a genuine interest in software testing, automation and problem-solving. You may be a good fit if you have: Experience in software testing, test automation or a related technical discipline.
