Avionics Systems Consultant

Job Title: Avionics Systems Consultant Location: Warton, UK (On-site, 5 days per week) Level: Mid-Level (3–5 years' experience) Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract or Permanent About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Avionics Systems Consultant to join our team on-site in Warton.

This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer with a strong background in flight avionics systems, radar technologies, and mission-critical equipment. You will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of advanced avionics systems for next-generation fighter aircraft.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support high-level concept development for flight avionics systems. Generate and manage formal system requirements using tools such as DOORS. Contribute to system and sub-system design and development across the avionics lifecycle.

Apply knowledge of the V-Model lifecycle in the context of fighter aircraft systems. Support interface management using the ICT Tool (ADS internal). Collaborate on radar and IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) system integration.

Provide input into mission computer equipment design and validation. Utilize Statemate for system modeling and simulation. Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Prior experience in one or more of the following roles: Attack and Ident Engineer Front End Team Engineer Exposure to safety-critical systems and associated standards.

Strong understanding of interface control documents and avionics architecture.
