You will bring strong experience across: AWS platform and infrastructure engineering Kubernetes / EKS and containerised environments Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation/CDK AWS networking, IAM, security and multi-account environments AWS-native services across compute, storage, messaging and integration CI/CD, GitOps and infrastructure automation Observability, resilience and production operations Python and/or other scripting/automation Designing and troubleshooting complex production environments Exposure to Agentic AI, AWS Bedrock, AI-assisted operations or automation would be particularly interesting.
We're less interested in someone who has simply used AWS and more interested in engineers who understand how to build and engineer platforms properly on AWS, can explain the architectural choices they've made, and are comfortable taking ownership in complex environments.
