Backend Developer

Overview

In this role you will join a backend squad building robust, scalable services for a global EV charging platform. You will collaborate with product and engineering peers to translate complex needs into reliable, observable systems that scale with CPO integrations. The work combines fast delivery with defensive programming and data-driven decisions. You’ll contribute to a mission-driven company shaping the future of public EV charging and cross-border adoption.

Responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable backend services with strong observability and defensive programming practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to break down problems and design creative technical solutions
• Support global CPO integrations and market-leading platform capabilities

Key requirements

• 2+ years commercial experience with Python
• Good communication with ability to align product vision and propose technical solutions
• Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software
• Proficient understanding of Git and CI/CD
• Good understanding of databases and data architecture
• Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL, etc)
