Backend Software Engineer C#.Net SQL - Hedge Fund

Overview

In this role you will build and optimize algorithmic trading systems for a London-based hedge fund, collaborating with Quant teams to shape valuation, risk and pricing capabilities. You’ll work on massively scalable, high-performance streaming compute operations and take technical ownership from day one. The role combines strong software engineering with finance-domain impact, backed by a culture of learning and industry mentorship. You’ll join a collaborative team solving challenging problems in a high-growth, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of technologists and finance professionals to develop algorithmic trading systems
• Architect valuation, risk and pricing systems
• Deliver massively scalable, high-performance streaming compute operations
• Take technical ownership on projects from day one
• Work closely with Quant teams to align software with business objectives

Key requirements

• Minimum 2.1 in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university
• A grades at A-level
• Advanced C# .Net programming including .Net Core (open to Java, Python, or C++ if команда uses C#)
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms
