Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational performance and develop tailored intervention plans. - Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities. - Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and adjust plans as necessary. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with trust policies. - Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. - Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the training of junior staff and students.
Required Qualifications and Experience: - HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. - Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy. - Completion of NHS mandatory training. - Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting. Desirable
