Bar Staff

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused person to join the team at Market Tap in Pocklington on a part-time basis. If you enjoy working with people, love a good atmosphere and don’t mind getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing Providing great service and making sure our customers have a brilliant time Welcoming customers and helping them choose something new to try Serving beers, drinks and food Keeping the bar and venue clean and tidy Clearing tables, collecting glasses and keeping things looking their best Helping the wider team to keep the venue running smoothly Creating a friendly atmosphere that makes customers want to come back What we’re looking for A friendly, positive and approachable personality Excellent customer service skills Previous hospitality or bar experience is desirable, but not essential Someone who is reliable and happy working as part of a team A willingness to learn and get stuck in Knowledge or an interest in beer is a bonus!

We’re more interested in the person and their attitude than having a long list of previous experience. Full training will be provided...
