Bid Manager

Bids & Marketing Manager | Belfast | Up to 50,000 Vickerstock are working in partnership with an established multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a Bids & Marketing Manager to join their Belfast team. This is a broad role combining responsibility for the coordination and delivery of high-quality bids with the wider marketing and business development activity of the consultancy.

Working closely with Directors and technical teams across the business, you will take ownership of the bid process from initial opportunity through to submission, while helping strengthen how the business presents itself to existing and prospective clients across the construction and engineering sectors.

Your responsibilities will include

Managing bids and tenders from initial opportunity through to final submissionCoordinating input from Directors, Engineers, Project Managers and other technical specialistsProducing clear, compelling and professionally presented tender responsesReviewing tender requirements and developing appropriate submission strategiesManaging bid programmes, deadlines and internal review processesMaintaining and developing bid libraries, project case studies and supporting informationWorking with technical teams to communicate complex engineering and construction information effectivelySupporting presentations, capability documents and client proposalsCoordinating company marketing activity across digital and traditional channelsDeveloping content highlighting projects, technical expertise and company achievementsSupporting business development initiatives and client engagement activityHelping improve bid, marketing and communication processes across the businessWhat you will need to succeedPrevious experience within bids, proposals, marketing or business developmentExperience within construction, engineering, architecture, professional services or a similar technical environment would be particularly advantageousStrong written communication and copywriting skillsAbility to take technical information and turn it into clear, persuasive submissionsExperience coordinating contributions from multiple stakeholdersStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage several deadlines simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and strong presentation skillsConfidence working directly with Directors and senior professionalsA proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of the bid processWhat's in it for you?
