Billing Transition Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee the seamless transition of billing processes across entities, protecting revenue and boosting operational efficiency. You will lead end-to-end billing operations during migration, support cash flow, and partner with operations, sales, customer service and finance to resolve issues.

As part of a broader transformation journey, you will identify root causes of recurring invoicing problems and implement improvements. You will also ensure UAT and timely reporting during migration and stabilisation to mitigate revenue leakage.

This is a hands-on, impact-driven position that shapes how we bill customers and forecast revenue.

Responsibilities

• Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and raised per terms and pricing
• Lead and develop the billing team, setting priorities and coaching
• Collaborate with operations, sales, customer service and finance to resolve discrepancies
• Monitor deadlines and month-end to support revenue recognition and forecasting
• Investigate recurring invoicing issues and implement process improvements
• Oversee billing UAT to meet business expectations
• Maintain billing completeness and accuracy during migration and stabilisation, mitigating revenue leakage

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in a billing or order-to-cash role
• Proven people management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
