BIM Coordinator

Overview

In this BIM Coordinator role, you drive the process of creating digital models and project information from design through handover. You will lead BIM workflow, coordinate multi-discipline models, and ensure data embedding and standards are consistently applied. You’ll set project guidelines, manage datasets, and mentor teams to maintain quality and collaboration. This position offers a chance to shape digital construction practices on high-impact infrastructure projects at a global firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and mentoring on BIM authoring tools to project teams
• Manage and maintain project content and source additional content as needed
• Communicate changes in procedures and standards to project teams
• Coordinate and manage BIM datasets/workflows and project setup
• Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines
• Daily model management, maintenance and assurance
• Contribute to BIM Execution Plans, TIDPs/MIDPs, MPDT, and responsibility matrices
• Develop and apply standards from design through construction and closeout

Key requirements

• Ability to coordinate with key stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication for internal and external documentation
• Hands-on construction industry experience beneficial
• Strong documentation writing/editing skills
• Proficiency with Bentley and Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks/Solibri, CAD)
• Experience with CDE solutions (ACC, Aconex)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Teams, SharePoint and PowerBI is advantageous
• Minimum experience in digital construction and advanced BIM technology
• Degree-related requirements as specified in the job ad
• UK resident able to obtain clearance
