BIM Coordinator

Overview

As a BIM Coordinator at AECOM, you guide the digital model workflow from design to handover, ensuring data is linked across disciplines and aligned with project procedures. You lead model authoring, clash detection, and information embedding to keep delivery on track. You’ll set up project guidelines and mentor teams on BIM standards and execution. Responsibilities

• Provide technical BIM support and mentoring to the project/delivery team
• Manage and maintain project content and source additional content as needed
• Communicate changes in procedures and standards to project teams
• Coordinate BIM datasets/workflow and project setup
• Set up linked models and coordinate across disciplines
• Daily model management, maintenance and assurance
• Contribute to BIM Execution Plans, TIDPs/MIDPs, MPDT, and Responsibility Matrices
• Implement standards and best practices from design through construction and handover
• Handle sensitive information appropriately

Key requirements

• Stakeholder coordination能力
• Ability to write and edit both internal and external documentation
• Hands-on construction industry experience beneficial
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Bentley and Autodesk suites (Revit, Navisworks/Solibri, CAD) and CDE tools (ACC, Aconex)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint; PowerBI advantageous
• Experience in digital construction and advanced BIM technology beneficial
• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or Construction Management; BTEC or HNC/HND accepted
• UK resident able to obtain security clearance
