Bodyshop Technician

Vehicle Bodyshop Fitter / Stripper Salary: £32,000 per annum Location: Wembley Key Responsibilities Strip and refit vehicle components, including bumpers, lights, trims, panels, doors and interior fittings. Carry out pre- and post-repair fitting work to support the accident repair process.

Work primarily on German vehicle brands, as well as BYD models. Ensure all components are removed, stored and refitted safely and correctly. Identify damaged or faulty components and report any additional work required. Work closely with panel beaters, paint technicians and other workshop colleagues to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently.

Follow manufacturer repair procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements. Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.

Requirements Previous experience in a vehicle bodyshop fitter/stripper role. Good knowledge of vehicle stripping and refitting procedures. Experience working with German vehicle brands would be advantageous. Familiarity with BYD vehicles or electric vehicles would be beneficial.

Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems are preferable. A strong eye for detail and the ability to work to a high standard. A reliable, organised and proactive approach to work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
