Bookkeeper

Job Description 28000 - 32000 Full Time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Are you an experienced Cloud Bookkeeper looking to join a friendly growing accountancy practice where your skills are recognised and your career can continue to develop Were looking for a confident Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of small business clients working with leading cloud accounting software including Xero Sage and QuickBooks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team take ownership of your client portfolio and play an important role within a well-established practice. The Role As a Cloud Bookkeeper youll manage your own portfolio of clients ensuring accurate bookkeeping and providing an excellent level of service.

Your responsibilities will include

Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of sole traders partnerships and limited companies Processing financial records using cloud accounting software Preparing and submitting VAT returns Building strong relationships with clients by telephone and email Assisting with accounts preparation up to trial balance Supporting the preparation of management accounts where appropriate Maintaining accurate financial records and meeting client deadlines Working closely with senior accountants and supporting the wider team About You Youll be an organised and proactive Bookkeeper who enjoys working with clients and takes pride in producing accurate work.

Youll ideally have

Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice Good knowledge of bookkeeping for sole traders partnerships and limited companies Experience using Xero QuickBooks and Sage Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns Strong communication and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to prioritise work and manage multiple deadlines A positive team-focused approach Whats on Offer Salary of 28000 - 32000 depending on experience Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Office-based role in Cross Hills 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunity to develop your skills and progress within a growing accountancy practice If youre an experienced Cloud Bookkeeper Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant with strong cloud accounting experience and youre looking for your next opportunity wed love to hear from you.
