Building Safety Manager

Interim Build Safety Manager Location: Central London / Hybrid Rate: 347 per day Umbrella

A London local authority is recruiting an experienced Interim Building Safety Manager to oversee building safety compliance across its residential housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Building Assessment Certificate (BAC) applications for Higher Risk Buildings.
• Develop Safety Case Reports, risk assessments and Resident Engagement Strategies.
• Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and fire safety legislation.
• Conduct building inspections, identify risks and oversee remedial works.
• Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator and maintain the Golden Thread of building information.
• Provide specialist advice and promote a strong building safety culture.

Essential Experience:

• Strong knowledge of building and fire safety legislation.
• Experience managing residential buildings and construction projects.
• Ability to assess risks and review safety assessments.
