We're looking for a Building Services Engineer with practical experience working with equipment such as: Refrigeration systems & compressorsCompressed air systemsAir Handling Units (AHUs)Vacuum pumpsHVACPumps & motorsBoilers / steam systemsGeneral site utilitiesYou don't need to be a specialist in everything.
We're looking for a good engineering generalist who understands this type of equipment, can investigate why something isn't performing properly and knows where to start looking for a solution. What You'll Be DoingInvestigating underperforming building services equipmentIdentifying faults, inefficiencies and improvement opportunitiesEngineering practical solutionsReviewing plant controls, set points and operating parametersImproving reliability and energy efficiencyWorking alongside site engineers and specialist contractorsSupporting utilities and engineering improvement projectsApproximately 50% site/factory floor and 50% office basedWhat We're Looking ForBuilding Services, Site Services, Utilities or Maintenance Engineering backgroundHands-on experience with several of the systems listed aboveStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilityComfortable investigating equipment and proposing solutionsAble to read technical drawings and schematicsManufacturing, FMCG or industrial experience preferredComfortable working independently and with contractorsWhy Consider It?
