St Albans Catholic High School are looking for a driven and focused candidate to join their busy administration team. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience whilst working towards a level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Working week Mon-Thurs 08:30 - 17:00 1 hour Lunch Fri 08:30 - 16:30 1 hour Lunch 37 hours per week Wage 9.00 per hour Wage rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months if over 19 years old. Qualification Business Administration level 3 Duration 18 months Training Provider: LMP Education Duties and Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of agendas briefing papers reports presentations correspondence and other documentation using Microsoft Office 365 Learning to produce accurate meeting minutes action logs and follow-up documentation for meetings.
Supporting the monitoring and tracking of actions arising from meetings to ensure agreed deadlines are met. Maintaining confidential electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with Trust procedures and data protection requirements Assisting with academy onboarding conversion and Trust development projects through effective administrative coordination Assisting with the ordering and management of office supplies and equipment Contributing ideas that improve administrative systems digital processes and ways of working across the Trust Skills and Attributes Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and personal development.
Previous procurement experience is not required; a genuine interest in developing new skills and knowledge is essential. Attention to Detail The ability to work accurately and carefully when handling information records and documentation ensuring a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Organisation and Time Management The ability to manage a range of tasks effectively prioritise workloads and meet deadlines within a busy working environment. Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues suppliers and other stakeholders.
Reliability and Professionalism Demonstrates honesty integrity and a professional approach to work together with a positive attitude and willingness to support others. Ability to Follow Processes and Procedures Comfortable working within established procedures and guidelines with an appreciation of the importance of compliance and consistency.
Numeracy and Literacy Skills Confident working with numerical information and written documents with the ability to interpret data accurately and communicate effectively. Education and qualifications Maths and English at GCSE level A-C (4-9) or functional skills equivalent.
