Business Development Manager - Mid-Market

Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you drive mid-market SaaS sales within Trimble’s AECO-focused portfolio. You’ll hunt for new business, run full sales cycles, and tailor ROI-focused demos for construction clients in the UK. You’ll partner with pre-sales and customer success to land high-impact customers and build a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasts. This role combines strategic selling with hands-on closing, shaping Trimble’s leadership in digital construction. You’ll work in a collaborative, growth-minded culture that rewards initiative and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for new business and manage full sales cycle from discovery to closing
• Deliver tailored ROI overviews and product demonstrations of SaaS solutions
• Collaborate with technical pre-sales and customer success to land new customers
• Manage a qualified pipeline and provide forecast for bookings
• Develop market insights to position Trimble against competitors

Key requirements

• Deep understanding of the UK construction sector (2.5m–100m turnover)
• Proven track record in New Business Development selling SaaS/tech to contractors and house builders
• Experience with MEDDPICC and CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
• Fluent English with strong presentation and negotiation skills
