Business Development Rep Associate

Overview

In this role you drive early-stage sales for Square by outbounding to prospective merchants and showcasing Square’s ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with the Sales team to qualify opportunities and hand them to Account Executives, using a data-driven approach across email, calls, and social outreach. The position is a stepping stone to broader growth within Square, with mentorship and opportunities to increase earnings as you advance. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, tackling diverse merchant needs and contributing to the company’s mission to empower sellers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse pipeline of businesses and prioritize outreach to accelerate sales cycles
• Reach out to businesses at scale through cold calling, emailing and social selling
• Promote a solutions-based sales approach by identifying challenges and articulating Square’s value
• Develop your sales career through developmental opportunities and mentorship from Account Executives
• Achieve and exceed monthly quotas
• reside within 50 kilometres of the posted office location
