C# or C++ Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to building cutting-edge trading and risk analytics applications for leading financial institutions. You will work on model development, library creation, and implementation projects, with ownership of deliverables and collaboration with presales. The position sits at the intersection of software engineering and financial domain expertise, offering responsibility and opportunities to shape solutions in a high-profile client context. This is a hands-on role focused on cross-asset trading and risk management platforms with a path to senior ownership.

Responsibilities

• Model development and library creation for trading and risk solutions
• Implementation development including data interfaces, workflows, and bespoke reports
• Running your own projects and collaborating with presales
• Contributing to new model creation initiatives and cross-asset platforms

Key requirements

• 2:1 or First Class Undergraduate degree in CS, Maths, Finance, or other technical discipline
• BS and/or MS/PhD in Computer Science (or related STEM field)
• Strong software analysis, design and development skills
• Min 2 years professional experience in C#, Python, C++ or Java
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience in or strong interest in finance and capital markets
