C++ Software Developer – Market making

Overview

In this role you will strengthen and expand a Widley-deployed order management system used in a fast-paced options market. You will work closely with other software engineers to align technical solutions with trading strategies and data needs. The position emphasizes scalable, low-latency performance in a non-bureaucratic environment. You will influence architecture and tackle complex system problems that impact execution quality and reliability. This is a technically challenging role at the edge of technology and finance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the Widley-deployed order management system
• Manage market data delivery systems
• Develop trading execution strategies
• Provide level 1 and 2 application support
• Monitor and report system status
• Architect new solutions
• Troubleshoot and analyze performance issues
• Collaborate with other software engineers to align with strategies

Key requirements

• Experience with TRbicks OMS or other OMS (Bloomberg, Orc, TS, Itiviti)
• Solid C++ development on Windows and Linux
• Experience in a trading environment
• Experience in Market Making (Options not required)
• Bachelors degree in STEM
• Linux experience
• Appetite for delivering solutions to complex problems
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams

• C++ development on Windows and Linux
