This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous cable assembly and soldering experience who are looking for consistent weekday hours, ongoing work, weekly pay and the potential of a permanent position. You will be working in a clean and organised production environment, assembling high-quality electrical and data cables used across a range of industries.
The RoleAs a Skilled Cable Assembler, your duties may include: Assembling power, data and electrical cables to specificationSoldering components and connections to a high standardCrimping, stripping and terminating wiresWorking with small and detailed componentsUsing hand tools and semi-automated equipmentReading and following written and visual technical instructionsCarrying out quality checks on completed productsWorking to production targets and deadlinesKeeping your work area clean, organised and safeFollowing all site health and safety proceduresKey Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for candidates who: Have proven experience in cable assemblyHave previous soldering experienceAre confident carrying out detailed, hands-on assembly workHave strong attention to detail and high-quality standardsCan follow technical instructions accuratelyAre reliable, punctual and motivatedCan work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience within electronics, manufacturing or production environments would be highly desirable.
