Cable Assembly Operative – Night Shift Location: Brackmills, Northampton (NN4) Pay Rate: £16.15 per hour Shift: Monday to Wednesday | 18:00 – 06:30 (36 hours per week) Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary Ongoing | Temp to Perm Pay Frequency: Weekly Start Date: Immediate Start Available Cable Assembly Operatives Required Quest Employment is currently recruiting Cable Assembly Operatives for a well-established manufacturer based in Brackmills, Northampton.

This role involves crimping, cutting, packing and loading cables in a busy manufacturing environment. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in a similar industry, such as car manufacturing, electronics assembly or other production and manufacturing sectors.

The Role Your duties will include: Cutting cables to the required lengths. Crimping cables and components to specification. Packing finished cables ready for dispatch. Loading and handling packed cable products. Following production instructions and quality standards.

Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues. Maintaining a clean and safe workstation. Following all health and safety procedures and production targets. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in manufacturing, production, cable assembly, electronics or automotive assembly is highly desirable.

Experience working in a car factory or similar electronic assembly environment would be ideal. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Able to follow instructions and maintain quality standards. Physically fit and comfortable standing for 12 hours per shift .

Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team. Pay & Benefits £16.15 per hour. Overtime paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate. Weekly pay. Full training provided. Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent.
