Job Description CAD/CAM Offline Programmer Salary: £22.00 £25.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime About the Role We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Offline Programmer to join our precision engineering team.
In this role, you will lead the programming of high-quality components, ensuring our CNC milling machines run safely, efficiently, and at peak capacity. CAD/CAM Offline Programmer - Key Responsibilities CAM Programming: Create, optimize, and modify precision toolpaths using Autodesk PowerMill or Fusion. Multi-Machine Management: Efficiently generate concurrent programming strategies for multiple CNC milling machines.
Documentation: Produce clear, accurate cut sheets and setup documentation for machine operators. Problem Solving: Troublshoot programming issues and refine strategies live on the shop floor during production. Drawing Interpretation: Read, analyze, and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical data.
Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet strict delivery deadlines. CAD/CAM Offline Programmer - What We Are Looking For Proven experience as an offline CNC Programmer. High proficiency in Autodesk PowerMill or Fusion software.
