Job Description CAD Draughtsperson (Biomass & Renewable Energy) £38,000 - £43,000 + Progression + Company Benefits + Christmas Shutdown Kirkby - Office Based Are you a CAD Draughtsperson with mechanical experience looking to take greater ownership of technically varied projects, broaden your expertise and develop specialist knowledge of biomass systems, with the opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects from initial design through to installation within a growing renewable energy business?
This is an opportunity to join a specialist renewable energy company delivering the design, installation and maintenance of bioenergy heating solutions. In this role, you will produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for biomass, bioenergy and heating systems. You will work on general arrangements, plant-room layouts, equipment positioning, pipework routes and fabrication drawings, using engineering specifications, site surveys and technical information to bring projects from design through to installation.
This role would suit a CAD Draughtsperson, Draughtsman, CAD Technician or similar with a mechanical, HVAC or pipework background, looking to specialise within the renewable energy industry and gain exposure to complex biomass and bioenergy projects.
The Role
Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for biomass and renewable energy projects Create GA, fabrication, installation and equipment layout drawings Develop pipework routes, plant-room layouts and system arrangements Amend drawings following design changes, site surveys and installations Work closely with engineers, project teams, suppliers and installation teams
The Person
Experience as a CAD Draughtsperson, Draughtsman, CAD Technician or similar Mechanical, HVAC, pipework or similar engineering drawing experience Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software Able to interpret engineering specifications and technical information Commutable to Kirkby Reference: BBBH26901A Draughtsperson, Draughtsman, CAD, CAD Technician, CAD Engineer, Mechanical, Design, AutoCAD, Engineering, Pipework, HVAC, Biomass, Bioenergy, Renewable Energy, Renewables, Liverpool, Kirkby, Manchester, Merseyside If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
