CAD EngineerWe're seeking a CAD Engineer with HVAC or mechanical building services experience to join a well-established contractor based in Manchester. This is an interactive, office-based role where you'll work closely with engineers and project managers to produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings and assist in the integration of air conditioning and ventilation systems into project designs.
You'll be more than just a CAD operator - this role suits someone who enjoys being part of the design conversation and has the confidence to help shape layouts and solutions. Key responsibilities:Produce and update 2D AutoCAD drawings for AC and ventilation projectsAssist in the coordination of mechanical services layoutsWork collaboratively with project teams to ensure designs are practical and accuratePackageApproximately £30,000 per annum, dependent on experienceOffice-basedOpportunity to work on varied and technically interesting HVAC projects20 days holiday increasing to 25 with serviceSupportive environment within a growing specialist contractor8% pension (3% employee, 4% employer, 1% top-up) RequirementsProven experience as a CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, or Draughtsman within HVAC, mechanical, or building servicesProficient in 2D AutoCADStrong understanding of air conditioning and ventilation systemsComfortable contributing to design and coordination work, not just draftingMust be commutable to North East ManchesterWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
