Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging weekly paid Canteen Assistant to join the Catering team to support and contribute to delivering a high-quality catering and customer-facing service to Site.

Key responsibilities will include
Stock taking;Preparing and serving food / beverages;Collecting monies and operating a cash till;Preparing food as required;Interacting with internal and external customers;Cleaning of kitchen equipment, worktops, tables and floors;Assisting with ad hoc requests (such as buffets, engagement events etc.);Complying with H&S and food hygiene requirements (to ensure in line with legal compliance);Complying with COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Key requirements of the role will include: Previous experience in a kitchen environment and/or in a customer-facing role;Good understanding of food hygiene requirements (ideally food safety trained);Good verbal, written and numerical skills (to include handling cash); andWell organised and self-motivated.
