Change Control Engineer

Overview

In this role, you coordinate the change management process for McLaren Automotive’s vehicle parts and production processes. You will ensure changes to cars in development and series production balance quality, delivery timelines, and cost. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to drive actions and improve the change process, contributing to successful vehicle launches and ongoing process improvements. Responsibilities

• Implement product changes per PCM processes for McLaren Automotive products
• Coordinate across departments to progress vehicle project changes and block changes
• Facilitate product change management meetings to drive stakeholder actions
• Generate progress reports and KPI dashboards, investigate deviations
• Coordinate change control for development projects to enable successful launches
• Oversee Block change process for series development changes
• Conduct regular process/system reviews to continuously improve change management

Key requirements

• Experience in Product Change Management/Change Control
• Experience in Product Data and Bill of Materials Management
• Degree of technical/analytical nature or specific change control experience
• Experience using SAP advantageous
• Experience coordinating indirect stakeholders and workflows
• IT skills (MS Office)
• Effective communicator at all levels
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
