Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting a Chartered Building Surveyorjoin our client focused team on various projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate to join and strengthen our team, providing all core surveying services on a number of interesting areas of property. Role ResponsibilitiesClient relationship management and reporting to PartnersTo ensure business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstancesCarrying out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and proceduresComply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategiesTake personal accountability for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality StandardsManagement and preparation of key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and post-handoverEnsuring business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstancesPreparation of various programmes, surveys and reportsManaging multiple projects on 'LIVE' operational sitesAssistance with the preparation of contract documentsManagement of multi-disciplinary project teamsAdministering building contractsManaging the design, H&S and commercial processFull ownership from project brief to final completion and occupationUndertaking asset management surveys and planned maintenance inspectionsCandidate ProfileQualificationsDegree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical disciplineIdeally MRICS or membership of other relevant professional bodyExperienceStrong technical delivery experienceAbility to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent mannerExcellent specification writing skillsGood knowledge of JCT ContractsTrack record in project management of projects from inception to completionEvidence of working with multiple stakeholdersClient facing, ensuring a high standard of technical deliveryAble to build long-term relationshipsPreviously employed by a consultancyExperience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlinesBehavioursRecognised as a client focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support to their peers and seniors.
