SCHOOL CATERING – STOURBRIDGE & SURROUNDING AREAS LOCATION: Stourbridge, Dudley, Halesowen, Brierley Hill, Kingswinford, Hagley, Kidderminster and surrounding areas PAY RATE: £18.00 – £24.00 per hour (depending on experience and client) JOB TYPE: Temporary / Agency – Ongoing Assignments WORKING HOURS: Predominantly Monday to Friday | Daytime Shifts ABOUT US Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting experienced and reliable Chefs to support our growing portfolio of school catering contracts across Stourbridge and the surrounding areas. We have a variety of ongoing agency assignments available within primary schools, secondary schools, academies and education catering environments. We are particularly interested in hearing from Chefs with experience in school catering, contract catering, education catering and high-volume kitchen environments. WHAT WE OFFER Competitive hourly rates of £18.00 – £24.00 Ongoing and regular agency assignments Flexible working opportunities to suit your availability Predominantly Monday to Friday, daytime working hours Weekly pay Opportunities across multiple school catering locations ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional catering environment Enhanced DBS certificate suitable for working with children, meeting current safeguarding requirements In-date Food Safety / Food Hygiene certificate In-date Food Allergen Awareness certificate Good understanding of dietary requirements, food allergies and allergen management Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations when required Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work Access to your own vehicle would be highly advantageous due to the locations of some assignments.
