Job Description Job Title: Chef ManagerLocation: Nettleham, Lincolnshire (LN2)Salary: £35,360 per annum (£17.00/hr)Hours: 40 hours per weekAbout the Role We are recruiting a proactive Chef Manager to take full operational ownership of the catering service within a residential care home in the LN2 area.
This role is ideal for an experienced kitchen manager who takes pride in producing fresh, home-cooked food for residents while running an organized, compliant kitchen. Key Responsibilities Design daily menus that are both appetizing and aligned with residents' nutritional needs.
Lead and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative working environment. Control kitchen budgets, stock levels, waste management, and ordering. Enforce all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and regulatory standards. Requirements
Essential
Direct management/head chef experience within a care home or healthcare environment. Food Hygiene Level 3 (preferred) or Level 2 certification. Comprehensive understanding of care sector food guidelines, texture-modified foods, and allergen safety. Strong communication and team management abilities.
