Full UK Driving Licence; Social Care Wales (SCW) registration (or active Social Work England [SWE] registration with proof of SCW application in progress) About the Role Powys County Council is looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join their Care and Support Team in North Powys.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality assessment, care planning, and intervention for individuals and families requiring care and support. Working within a supportive multi-disciplinary framework, you will help service users achieve positive outcomes while promoting independence, safety, and well-being across the region.

Key Requirements Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Social Work (BSc, MA, DipSW or equivalent). Registration: Registered with Social Care Wales (SCW) OR currently registered with Social Work England (SWE) with verified evidence that your SCW registration application is actively in progress.

Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for travel across North Powys. Office Attendance: Willingness and ability to adhere to the hybrid working pattern, including 2 fixed days per week at the office base in Ladywell House, Newtown.
