Civil Design Engineer

Overview

You will join the Aviation Infrastructure team to help design and deliver airport infrastructure projects. You will work closely with experienced engineers to apply civil engineering fundamentals to runways, taxiways and airfield systems, contributing to scalable, sustainable solutions. The role blends design, analysis and field involvement, offering development pathways and a chance to impact a broad portfolio of aviation projects. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of airport infrastructure including runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, drainage, utilities and airfield systems
• Produce engineering calculations, reports, drawings and technical specifications through the project lifecycle
• Support site inspections and asset condition surveys to inform investment decisions
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects; aviation experience welcome but not essential
• Interest in developing a career in aviation infrastructure
• Enjoys solving complex engineering challenges in multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of DMRB or highway civil engineering design
