Pre- & Post-Weld Preparation: Perform proper joint/surface preparation, pre-heating, interpass temperature control, and post-weld thermal monitoring as specified by Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS). Process Monitoring: Monitor welding parameters (current, voltage, travel speed, wire feed rate, shielding gas flow) throughout the cladding process to prevent defect formation (e.g., porosity, lack of fusion, cracking, excessive dilution).
